Our Thoughts on the Proactiv Solution

I initially started off using the 5 step Proactiv Solution consisting of the Renewing Cleanser, Revitalizing Toner, Repairing Lotion, Daily Oil Control, and Oil Free Moisture with SPF 15.

At the time I had a major breakout on the cheeks on my face and on my neck. The breakout was partially due to oils that my LMT used on me during massage and physical therapy. I am in my mid 20's and have never broken out with this bad of a case of acne before. I was desperate for a good acne treatment, so I decided to give the Proactiv Solution a try.

My results? During the first week of using Proactiv, I noticed a small difference as far as the acne breakout was concerned. It healed very slightly. However, there was a big difference in the parts of my face that had not broken out...my skin felt much softer and smoother.

After a month, I noticed a large improvement. Half of my acne had cleared up and signs and minor scars from past breakouts faded dramatically, if not altogether disappeared.

Yes, Proactiv has worked for us. Whatever kit you buy is advertised as a 60-day supply, but my kits always last at least 2 times longer than that. The cleanser lasts me around 5 months, although the toner lasts around 80 days as it tends to dry up.
